If you are looking for a subject that is not covered by one of our Peer Tutors, or for tutoring during a time that is not available to book with our peer tutors, TutorMe is here to fill in whatever you need. We know that it can seem daunting to keep up with your coursework when learning remotely, and we wanted to provide a valuable resource that can be accessed right from your home.

We are excited to announce that Nyack College has partnered with TutorMe to offer complimentary 24/7 online tutoring to all students!

TutorMe has a network of over 10,000 verified tutors ready to help with any question, no matter how big or small in over 300 subjects, and 4,000 topics. Average time to connect with a tutor is 18.2 seconds. Learn using TutorMe’s state-of-the-art lesson space which includes audio/video chat, code editor, screen sharing, virtual whiteboard, text editor and more.

Online Tutoring Sign Up Guide

Step 1. Log into Edvance360

Step 2. Select this course:

Step 3. Select the lesson titled:

Step 4. Select the link titled “Connect to Tutoring Center: Tutor Me Student Help” located under “External LTI Tools”

Step 5. Select the green button labled “Connect with a tutor” on the landing page.

Step 6. Choose either to have a live tutoring session, or to have a paper reviewed.

Step 7. If “connect with a live tutor” was selected, use the search bar on the home page to select the subject you need help in.

Step 8. Type a brief description of your problem and upload any relevant files.

Step 9. When you are matched with a tutor you will be placed in the waiting room. Take some time to chat with your tutor to make sure they understand your problem and can help!

Step 10. When you are ready to begin working with your tutor, press “Enter Lesson”!

Additionally, using TutorMe you can submit a paper on the Writing Lab and receive feedback in less than 12 hours.
