The Nyack College Career Connections Online database is where over 2000 current students and alumni job seekers are registered to look for job openings. Post your positions in this heavily searched database at no charge. Career Connections Online is exclusively for Nyack College students and alumni. Positions are posted until a specified deadline.
The Office of Career Counseling and Services posts non-professional (i.e. babysitting, caretaking, housekeeping etc.) and temporary positions for students while they are in school as well.
To post a non-professional position or if you are a non-profit agency looking to post volunteer opportunities,

1- Create a flyer to be hung on the bulletin board (you can email flyers to email@example.com)

Job Postings Policy
Job opportunities that are posted on the Student Job Board are updated regularly by the Career Counseling and Services staff. Your job opportunity may be posted for students on the Student Job Board for up to one month, unless you specify differently. The Career Counseling and Services staff appreciates hearing from the employer when you have filled your open positions, and would like to know the full name of the student that you hired for our records.
The Nyack College Career Counseling and Services Office acts only as a referral service and makes no particular recommendations regarding potential employees or employers. Neither Nyack College nor the Career Counseling and Services office makes any representation or guarantee whatsoever about any position listed on the Student Job Board, nor does Nyack College or the Career Counseling and Services office assume any responsibility for safety, wages, working conditions, or any other aspect of off-campus employment.
The Nyack College Career Counseling and Service office will not post job opportunities to any employer requiring upfront payment of any kind or the purchase of products or work equipment/tools. Your job postings or e-mails must contain sufficient detail to convey clearly to the students the nature and basic requirements of the job opportunity. Employers may not use your job postings or e-mail to post false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
The Nyack College Career Counseling and Services Office reserve the right to determine that a position is not appropriate to list on the Student Job Board or web site. We make these determinations to the best of our ability with the welfare and safety of our students as our primary consideration. We will also refuse job postings based on if a review of the specific opportunity or nature/status of the company suggests that it is inappropriate for our student population; if students are injured or exposed to unsafe working conditions; if the employer discriminates; or if The Nyack College Career Counseling and Services office receives student complaints about discrimination, harassment, threats, unsafe working conditions, or any other questionable circumstance.
The Nyack College Career Counseling and Services office maintains this web site as a service to Nyack College students and alumni for their career development and employment seeking efforts. The presence of job announcements on this web site does not indicate an endorsement or recommendation from The Nyack College Career Counseling and Services office.
