The mission of the College of Arts and Sciences is to provide students with a liberal arts education which will serve as a foundation for the pursuit of lifelong learning, ethical living, and a successful career. The liberal arts core curriculum of the College of Arts and Sciences is the foundation upon which all Nyack students build their academic experience. It is designed to develop higher order skills in the areas of critical thinking, technological competency, written and oral communication, scientific and quantitative reasoning and information literacy.
