Alliance Theological Seminary invites applications for adjunct and partnering faculty positions at its New York City campus and also in the online platform in Theology, New Testament, Old Testament and Intercultural Studies. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach adult-learners in areas related to these disciplines at the graduate level at the New York City Campus location of ATS and in the online environment. Candidates should posses an earned doctorate in their field of study and have demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, online instruction and commitment to service. Ministry experience is highly valued as is interdisciplinary teaching competency (such as languages, hermeneutics and other disciplines as needed).

ATS is the official national seminary of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, but its vision and mission is to serve the Evangelical, Christian Churches in NYC and beyond. Its 500 students study at three locations: New York City (near Battery Park), San Juan, Puerto Rico and the online environment. The Master of Divinity is its largest degree (and indeed, the largest degree program of Nyack College), with over 250 students. The Doctorate in Global Christian Leadership serves more than 75 students and is preparing to launch a Spanish program in South America and Puerto Rico. ATS is also one of the most diverse seminaries in America, both in terms of students and faculty. Students come from over 70 different countries and represent approximately 90 different denominations; 17% are Asian, 31% Black, 26% Latino and 13% white and 10% international. The Seminary graduates approximately 100 students per year. Adjunct and Partnering Faculty members are a valuable part of the team at ATS and are highly valued.
