WNYK Radio November Alumnus of the Month: Nikos Kline

The WNYK 88.7 FM spotlight will be on 2019 Nyack College alumnus Nikos Kline. An interview with the extraordinarily talented music composition major will air on Tuesday, November 19 at 12 noon; Wednesday, November 20 at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 22 at 9:00 AM and Monday, November 25 at 5:00 PM.

Earlier this month Nikos performed an original piano composition at Steinway Hall in Manhattan in a program that featured School of Music faculty, alumni and current students. In his senior year of studies, as a member of the Nyack College Chorale, he conducted his arrangement of “Yesterday, Today, Forever,” a musical composition written by Nyack’s founder Albert Benjamin Simpson at Lincoln Center.

The first place winner of a Nyack School of Music Scholarship Piano Competition, his choral pieces have been performed by the Chorale in the New York area and during the Chamberfest Asia tour in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Also a gifted actor Nikos played the lead role of Tony in the Performing Arts Department’s off-Broadway production of “West Side Story” at the American Theater of Actors.

Tune in and enjoy what promises to be a delightful conversation!
