After a four-year break in our treasured tradition of alumni and friends, students, faculty, and staff coming together, we’re so excited you’re here! Get ready to make new memories as you get to know your alma mater all over again.
You’ve arrived just in time for a historic Homecoming Weekend. It will be the first one we enjoy with President Rajan and Mrs. Grace Mathews. Together, we’ll celebrate the launch of our new name, Alliance University, and we’ll pay homage to 140 years of transformational Christian higher education.
Our new name, Alliance University, ushers us into a new era with a revitalized vision. An institutional rebrand has unveiled a new logo and a new seal. Vibrant new school colors of purple, red, orange and blue reflect a bold stance in our strategic New York City location. This gateway city offers unlimited opportunities to expand our influence in the city, across the nation, and around the globe.
This weekend is filled with activities at multiple sites—from the campus at 2 Washington Street in Manhattan to our first new residential hall in more than half a century at 150 Bay Street in Jersey City, NJ. Men’s and women’s soccer games will be played at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus, NJ. Volleyball and alumni basketball games take place at John J. Moore Athletics & Fitness Center in Jersey City, NJ.
And what would the weekend be without worship?
Do not miss the Homecoming concert on Saturday night! Our School of Music singers and musicians will share the stage with Grammy Award winner Maryanne J. George of Maverick City Music at the Greater New York Salvation Army’s Centennial Memorial Temple. We encourage you to visit a church in the area on Sunday to complete what will be an unforgettable experience.
It’s all for you … and for you, it’s all free!
