Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS)and Nyack’s Center for Racial Reconciliation (CRR) will host Sheila Wise Rowe as guest chapel speaker on Tuesday, March 2 on Zoom from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
Praise and worship will be led by ATS M.Div. students, Jessica Yoon and Rev. Chase Connolly, Worship Pastor at Ridgeway Alliance Church Armonk, NY campus.

Following the chapel service, Ms. Rowe will be interviewed from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM by Dr. Nathaniel Perez, director of the Center for Racial Reconciliation. He will facilitate a Q & A session.
Sheila Wise Rowe is the author of Healing Racial Trauma: The Road to Resilience (Intervarsity Press), the winner of a 2021 Christianity Today Book Award. With over 25 years of experience as a Christian counselor, spiritual director, educator and speaker, she is a much sought-after speaker at retreats, conferences, college campuses and churches. She can also be heard on radio programs and podcasts around the globe.
She is a member of The Redbud Writers Guild and writes essays for The Redbud Post. With her husband, Dr. Nicholas Rowe, she co-authored, The Well of Life: Heal Your Pain, Satisfy Your Thirst, Live Your Purpose. Sheila has also written for The Boston Globe, The Art of Taleh, Mudroomblog.com and READY Publication. Her essay, “Awakened to Adventure” is included in the anthology by Leslie Leyland Fields, The Wonder Years: 40 Women Over 40 on Aging, Faith, Beauty and Strength.
