SEPT 29: ATS Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month which pays tribute to Hispanic and Latino American heritage and culture (September 15-October 15), Alliance Theological Seminary New York City will hold a town hall forum, “Latinos and the Gospel in the 21st Century,” on Friday, September 29 on the campus at 2 Washington Street in Manhattan from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Room 1833.

The forum will be moderated by Prof. Jose Montes. Opening remarks will be made by Dr. Jeffrey García. Panelists include Director of the Center for Scholarship and Global Engagement, Dr. Nina Balmaceda; alumni, Karina Alvarez (ATS ‘17) and Daniel Rodriguez (ATS ‘16); students, Carlos Feitoza Filho (‘18) and Sandra Gutierrez (‘17).

This free event is open to the public and to Manhattan and Rockland campuses. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
