PRAXIS Connections Dinner for Emerging Leaders at Nyack NYC

The Emerging Leaders Dinner forums hosted by the Nyack College School of Social Work and conducted by Praxis Connection, LLC will be held Wednesday, April 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Nyack’s Manhattan campus, 2 Washington Street in Room 2130 featuring Rubén Austria. This month's topic is “Leading the Way for Transformative Change in New York City.”

The event will feature two speakers, Rev. Rubén S. Austria, executive director of Community Connections for Youth (CCFY), a Bronx-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering grassroots faith and neighborhood organizations to develop effective community-driven alternative to incarceration programs for youth. Onleilove (Onlylove) Alston is the executive director of PICO-Faith in NY a multi-faith and multi-race community organizing federation of over 70 congregations representing 80,000 New Yorkers. Through her personal journey of experiencing homelessness and foster care she has developed a compassion for people fueled by a passion for justice.
