As Dr. Sue Lane Talley, dean of the School of Music explains, “The most important thing we do at this school is meet students where they are. We love the fact that they love different kinds of music. We love the fact that they come with a great deal of gifting and we try to direct that gifting, but not to destroy it in order to give them some other kind of music. In other words, we try to expand what they have already.”

With a strategic location in Manhattan, students in Nyack’s School of Music learn and hone their talent in a city that is a hub of entertainment and performing arts.
