Dr. Varghese Mathai, Benjamin P. Browne, Chair of Communications at Judson University in Elgin, IL was the keynote speaker at Nyack's Fourth Annual Student Research Conference on Thursday, March 26 in Bowman Gymnasium on the Nyack College Rockland campus.
Dr. Mathai holds the Benjamin P. Browne Chair of Communications, named in honor of Judson University’s founder president. Prior to joining Judson, he served sequentially on the English faculties of the University of St. Thomas and of Bethel University, both in Minnesota. At Judson he teaches courses in British Poetry, Literature and Spirituality, African American Literature, and Writing. Dr. Mathai is the founding director of Judson University’s Honors Program.
