Nyack/ATS Alumni Appointed to NYC Mayor’s Advisory BoardNyack/ATS alumni (l-r), Dr. A.R. Bernard (MPS ’06; M.Div. 09), lead pastor of Christian Cultural Center and Dr. Charles O. Galbreath (BS ’06; M.Div. 09) senior pastor of Clarendon Road Church, both in Brooklyn, NY, were recently appointed to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Faith-Based Sector Advisory Council.

Other advisory groups established include non-profit and social services, public healthcare, education, construction and real estate and surface transportation, which will contribute to strategies for the re-opening of New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press release, the Mayor said, “These councils will provide real world guidance to ensure our plans to reopen the City make sense and keep people safe. We are facing an unprecedented crisis, but working together, we will come out stronger than before.”
