November 17 & 19 | Virtual Chapel Services at Nyack

Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary students, alumni, faculty and staff will gather for two virtual chapel services on the Zoom platform this week.

Tuesday, November 17 at 5:10 PM | Stepping into Your Future (Zoom Meeting ID: 966 8207 2611; Passcode: 686644)  Worship will be led by Metro District Superintendent Rev. Kelvin Walker and a word of encouragement will be shared by Seminario Teológico de Puerto Rico Executive Director Rev. Rafael Candelaria. Metro District Engage Team Leader, Rev. Omar Niebles, will be the guest speaker. Niebles is a 2007 alumnus of Nyack College who majored in pastoral ministry. Engage mobilizes the local church to minister to unreached people locally and globally.

Thursday, November 19 at 5:10 PM | Living a Life of Thanksgiving (Zoom Meeting ID: 910 4041 0664; Passcode: 199929) For this special Thanksgiving chapel, worship will be led by Dr. Tammy Lum, School of Music professor. “Living a Life of Thanksgiving” is the sermon title for guest speaker and Nyack alumnus Jamal Sarikoki of Venice Presbyterian Church in Florida where he is an elder, Minister of Music and Worship and a member of the preaching team. Mr. Sarikoki also serves as Artistic Director of the Venice Community Concert Series and Associate Conductor of Sarasota’s Key Chorale.
