Nyack College School of Music students, alumni, faculty and staff from both New York campuses will be among the featured performers at Steinway Hall located at 1133 Avenue of the Americas at 43rd Street in midtown Manhattan on Monday, November 4 at 7:00 PM. The program will be a showcase of the talent that is honed under the guidance of an extraordinary music faculty, which includes musicians who perform internationally. Steinway Hall was unveiled in May 2016 and embodies the Steinway & Sons legacy and commitment to the arts and culture. The third generation flagship showroom has a 75-seat recital space where the Nyack instrumentalists and vocalists will perform.
This year, the performance will be followed by a reception at the legendary John’s Pizzeria of Times Square, which is the original home of A.B. Simpson’s Gospel Tabernacle. The main dining room of the restaurant still displays the beautiful 30-foot stained glass ceilings and a staircase to what was once the church balcony.
Seating is limited for this event and RSVPs for the recital and the reception are required by Thursday, October 24. Contact Autumn Nova at the Nyack New York City School of Music by phone at 646.378.6138 or by email at email@example.com.
