Dr. Anna Flores-Locke, Alliance Graduate School of Counseling professor, will be one of five panelists at the American Counseling Association of New York’s (ACA-NY) Sixth Anniversary Event and Celebration on November 4, 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Columbia University Medical Center, 40 Haven Avenue, New York, NY.
Dr. Flores-Locke, LPC, ACS, is president-elect of Counselors for Social Justice, an assistant professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling and the director of Clinical Internship and Field Placement at Nyack College. She is also the owner of Charlandra Counseling Services in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.
The topic of discussion will be Advocacy in Counseling (for clients and in the field of counseling).This free event is open to ACA members.
