WNYK 88.7 FM, Nyack Warrior Radio, will feature two alumni in upcoming broadcasts.

Nov 20 & 23 | WNYK Features Alumni and Ministry of the Month SpotlightsPaul Garcia is in the WNYK November 2020 Alumni Spotlight. A conversation with the Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary alumnus will air on Friday, November 20 at 1:00 PM and again on Monday, November 23 at 11:00 AM.

Born in Columbia and raised in Texas, he is a courageous veteran of the United States Marine Corps and is currently pursuing the rigorous process of serving as a Navy chaplain. The 2006 graduate of Nyack College, who double-majored in Bible and Theology and Philosophy for his Bachelor of Science degree, also holds a Master of Divinity in Church Development from Alliance Theological Seminary.

Ordained in January 2019 as a Christian and Missionary Alliance minister, Rev. Garcia is the children’s worship pastor at Risen King Alliance Church in New City, NY. Known affectionately as “Mr. Paul,” he has delighted children and their parents with his gift for ushering young ones into the presence of God since 2016.

A former Nyack IT employee, Paul is married to Nyack College alumna Heather Garcia (’15), who has also served on the Nyack staff in Advancement and in Spiritual Formation. The Garcias are parents to four boys, Isaac, Rylan, Jude and Liam.

The conversation with Nikko will be broadcast on Friday, November 20 at 1:30 PM and re-air on Monday, November 23 at 11:30 AM. His music will be played on WNYK throughout the remainder of the month.

The interdisciplinary studies Nyack alumnus earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2015. A Christian rapper based in New York City, Nikko is a music producer and engineer who is dedicated to challenging culture and uplifting the spirit of his community through the hip hop genre. His goal in the music industry is to spark change in his generation by sharing the saving power of the Gospel.

His new single, “Better Day,” will premiere on WNYK 88.7 FM. Be among the first to hear his powerful lyrics by tuning in to WNYK this month.
