National Geographic Article on Nyack’s Archaeological Dig Team Makes 2017 Editor’s Favorites List

Dr. R. Steven Notley, Nyack’s Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins was informed that National Geographic included the article, “The Real Story Behind the ‘House of Jesus’ Apostles’ Discovery” among the magazine’s “Best of 2017 Editors’ Favorites.”

Dr. Notley served as the El-Araj Excavation Project academic director on the archaelogical dig that uncovered evidence of the ancient city, Bethsaida-Julias, chronicled in the New Testament of the Bible.
