Michael Bailey, President Donald Trump’s nominee for Arizona’s U.S. attorney, was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Bailey, son of the seventh president of Nyack College, the late Dr. Thomas Bailey, was nominated to the post by President Donald Trump in February 2019. The position, a four-year term, has been vacant for the past two years.
Applauded by his colleagues for his service to the state of Arizona and to the nation, Mr. Bailey has served as chief deputy to the Arizona Attorney General since 2015. Prior to that post, he worked in private practice as a criminal prosecutor and for a time as an assistant professor.
Congratulations to Arizona’s U.S. Attorney, a member of the Nyack College family!
