March 2 | New Deadline for Submissions to The Fine Print and The Fine Print Too

Prof. Beverley Locke, director of the Nyack College Writing Center and her staff invite Nyack students, faculty and staff to share their creativity through their original poetry, short stories, essays and photography for publication in The Fine Print, Nyack’s literary journal. The 2020 deadline has been extended to Monday, March 2.

First launched in 1968 as The Unicorn, the journal was the platform for showcasing the rich diversity of creative voices on campus. The more than 50-year-old tradition has now expanded with The Fine Print Too which was introduced in November 2019. This new platform will include video and musical compositions from lyricists, rappers, spoken word artists and composers who may submit their lyrics or sheet music with a link to an online portfolio and website.

Visit the Center’s website where guidelines are available for written work, spoken word or dance videos.

Sponsored by the Nyack College English Department, The Fine Print presents awards each year to Nyack students to encourage and recognize talented writers. The work of past winners has been published in prestigious journals and displayed at art venues.

Continue the celebration of creative expression and submit your work for review and consideration.
