What is academe saying about Jesus’ Bible?

“The title Jesus’ Bible is jarring to Orthodox Jews, but from this well documented book adherents of any religion can learn much about the contemporaneous languages and literatures that informed the content of the ancient Hebrew Bible and its earliest translations.”
Bella Haas Weinberg,
Professor Emerita St. John’s University, New York

“There is no better place to begin an investigation of the Bible’s history than Jesus’ Bible. Dost’s extraordinary work will be a great resource for scholars and students alike.”
Rimon Armaly,
Professor of Biblical Studies & Languages,
Elim Bible Institute & College, Lima, NY

“The book is an informative introduction into the history of the formation of the Hebrew Bible (aka Old Testament). It describes in an easy-to-read manner the forms of the Hebrew text, its ancient translations, and expounds questions connected with the modern research on the Bible in the context of Ancient Near Eastern Studies.”
Viktor Golinets,
Professor für Hebräische Sprachwissenschaft
Hochschule für Jüdische Studien, Heidelberg, Germany
