A new cohort of fourteen D. Min. students gathered for classes for the first time ever at the Manhattan campus of Alliance Theological Seminary earlier this month. With the modular scheduling of this degree program each January and July, students fulfill the residency portion of their core courses, with pre-class and post-class work, and elective classes held at other times.
“These are amazing men and women,” Ron Walborn, dean of Alliance Theological Seminary proudly commented. “The new NYC D.Min. cohort is diverse and deep in ministry experience. They are seasoned leaders who recognize their need to go deeper in order to accomplish all God has for them.”
The ATS commitment to global engagement is reflected in its D. Min enrollment. Of the 74 students enrolled, 25 cultural groups are represented. These students also represent more than 13 different U.S. states. And as always, what’s most exciting is that these men and women are church leaders drawn to complete their doctoral studies at ATS for its unique concentration in global leadership. Consistently we hear students express their appreciation for the developmental and transformational nature of the program. The impact they will make in the Kingdom of God worldwide is incalculable.
