Feb 15 | Hillside Worship With Alumni Artists: Jon Thurlow and Isa Agape

They’re coming back!

The Office of Spiritual Formation is welcoming home two powerful Nyack alumni worship leaders, Jon Thurlow and Isa Agape on Friday, February 15 at 10:00 AM and at 7:00 PM in Pardington Hall, 45 South Boulevard in Nyack.

Jon Thurlow

Jon graduated from Nyack in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in sacred music. In 2004, he became a full-time staff member at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City and has been leading worship sets there ever since. Jon has written many worship songs, released several albums, and is passionate about using music to help connect his audiences with Jesus.

Isa Agape, a 2002 alumna, is a traveling recording artist and photographer based in Kerrville, Texas.“Recently I’ve been in sort of a hiatus,” she says of the last 2 1/2 years. But she’s been anything but idle. Recently she and a few fellow musicians released a project to raise money for the poor in Nicaragua and Israel. “Chasing Light,” a podcast and another project, “Dirt Princess Life,” taking groups on backpacking trips to encounter God” also currently fill her time. About the gift of her music Isa says, “My heart is to capture beauty, moments, write songs that are real, honest, true, hard, messy and difficult – songs that help people be at peace, get some answers perhaps, and most importantly come in contact with love!”

Don’t miss this time in the presence of God with two extraordinary talents who proudly represent Nyack Nation!
