Dr. Antoinette Gines-Rivera, dean of the Alliance Graduate School of Counseling (AGSC), and AGSC Assistant Professor of Mental Health Counseling, Dr. Julio Orozco, will conduct a two-part webinar on Friday, December 11 from 10 AM to 12 PM. This virtual member care event for pastors and leaders in ministry entitled, “Mental Strength Wellness: Living Through a Pandemic,” is sponsored by the Metro District of the C&MA.
“Mental Strength & Wellness Through COVID-19,” will be addressed by Dr. Gines-Rivera and Dr. Orozco will present on “Managing Stress in a Time Like This.” The webinar content will provide tools for ministry workers on how to navigate the pandemic—personally and as they serve others. Much more than a physical threat, the pandemic can raise fear, worry and anxiety. “These emotional disruptions can result in many unfavorable outcomes, challenging our faith and trust in God,” says Dr. Gines-Rivera.
Registration to participate can be completed online.
