Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity degree is a comprehensive, three-year program designed to develop leaders for church and kingdom ministry locally and cross-culturally. Alliance Theological Seminary (ATS) does this by focusing on three formational areas:  spiritual formation, biblical/theological formation, and missional formation.

Why Study Divinity at ATS?

The M.Div. at ATS is a transformational, multicultural experience. Our students come from over thirty different nations and fifty different denominations. “The M.Div. program at ATS prepared me for local church leadership and doctoral study, because it integrated biblical and theological education with life-changing, spiritual formation and practical ministry training. That’s a rare and valuable combination. I loved it.” Dr. Jeff Duerler, Class of 2001
“Alliance Theological Seminary provided me with a comprehensive, agile framework for doing ministry that matters. The M.Div. program gave me connections to scripture via the original languages, a lifetime love for expository preaching, and a robust, mission-minded theology. It launched me into what has now been nearly twenty years of pastoral ministry in both civilian and military contexts.” Rev. Dr. John L. Torres, Jr.
