On Friday, January 14 at 10 am in Bowman Gymnasium, Soong-Chan Rah, senior pastor of the Cambridge Community Fellowship Church (CCFC) in Cambridge, Massachusetts will be the speaker at the Nyack campus Social Justice Chapel. Pastor Rah will conduct an open forum with students from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm in the Hudson Room at Boon Center following chapel.
Pastor Rah leads a multi-ethnic church ministering to a post-modern generation in the Central Square neighborhood of Cambridge. Before starting CCFC in 1996, Rev. Rah helped to plant a church in the Washington, D.C. area and worked for several years with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Born in Korea, Pastor Rah has a B.A. in Political Science and History/Sociology from Columbia University, a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a Masters Degree in Theology from Harvard University.
