Dr. Jeanne Marron from West Bergen Mental Healthcare lectures on Understanding Adults with Asperger’s Disorder in the College Community

On Wednesday, October 3, 2012, in President’s Hall,  Jeanne Marron, Ph.D. shared diagnostic criteria and strategies for working with individual with Asperger’s Disorder to faculty, staff and families. Dr. Marron is the Clinical Director of Asperger's Related Services at West Bergen Mental Healthcare in Ridgewood, Ramsey, and Oakland New Jersey, where she developed a comprehensive treatment program for children and adults with Asperger's Syndrome and similar disorders affecting interpersonal and social skills. Dr. Marron has been a member of the West Bergen clinical staff since 1993. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and pursued advanced training in neuropsychology at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan and the University Neuroscience Group in Staten Island. Dr. Marron has held numerous clinical, teaching and research positions in both New York and New Jersey. This presentation was co-sponsored by the office of Disabilities Support Services and the School of Education.
