Alliance Graduate School of Counseling (AGSC) is committed to prepare students for the role of mental health counselors who are emotionally mature, intellectually sound, and professionally competent. AGSC offers two programs:
The Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling is a Biblically grounded, 63-credit program combining the historic evangelical Christian faith with sound counseling principles. Alliance Graduate School of Counseling (AGSC) seeks to prepare students for professional counseling that effectively addresses the needs of distressed individuals (or groups/families) and damaged relationships. Upon graduation, students will have the academic requirements for licensing.
Availability: New York City Campus, Online
The Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy is comprised of 61 credits that focus on the dynamics of interpersonal family, marital/couple and parent/children relationships. Alliance Graduate School of Counseling (AGSC) aims to proficiently equip students with the adequate tools to incorporate therapeutic technique skills to work with these family systems in a professional yet warm environment. Upon graduation, students will have completed the academic requirements for licensing.
Availability: Rockland County Campus
Practical, rigorous and comprehensive, these programs have been constructed to meet academic requirements for the professional licenses of Mental Health Counseling (MHC) or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT).
Taught from a Christian worldview, our diverse faculty utilize the Psychospiritual counseling model. More importantly, we care deeply about the personal and professional growth of each student and provide them with individual attention serving as caring mentors and academic advisors.
