Master in Social Work Program Experiences Significant Growth
Since its inception in 2012, the Nyack College Master’s of Social Work degree program has experienced dramatic growth. In the fall semester of 2017, the program registered a total of 85 students, nearly tripling the enrollment of 29 in its inaugural term of 2015.
This significant growth advances the program’s mission of preparing students in a Christian context for the social work profession. The Nyack distinctives include knowledge, Christ-centered values and skills for competent and compassionate service to lead with integrity” and embodies the Nyack College core values of being “academically excellent” and “socially relevant.”
