If you attended Nyack College within the last six years, you do not need to reapply.  You can submit this form directly to the Registrar's Office.

STEP 2: Pastoral Recommendation
To be considered for admission, a pastor's recommendation must be completed and on record. Your pastor, youth pastor, elder or other spiritual leader should complete this recommendation (no family members).

STEP 3: High School Transcript Request
High school graduation or its equivalent is essential for admission to Nyack College. Complete the top section of the Request for High School Transcript form and present it to your guidance counselor or school official. Official SAT or ACT scores are required for recent high school graduates. Scores listed on an official transcript are acceptable. Nyack College’s ACT code number is 2846. The SAT Code is 2560.

STEP 4: Transfer Students

Request an official transcript from every college attended to be sent to the Office of Admissions or electronically to If you have not obtained a college degree, you must also submit your final high school transcript. Please also submit a Transfer Recommendation to the Dean of Students at your most recent college.

STEP 5: Schedule an Admissions Interview
The admissions interview gives us a chance to get to know you. To schedule your interview register for a visit click here for Rockland and here for Manhattan or contact your admissions counselor. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
STEP 6: Getting Accepted

After we receive all of your completed application materials, you will receive notification of your admission status. Testing may be required for placement purposes. 

STEP 7: Complete Your FAFSA

A financial aid assessment will be made once you are accepted for admissions AND have completed your FAFSA.

STEP 8: Immunization Record
Students must submit this form prior to enrollment.

STEP 9: Deposits
  • All incoming students are required to make a tuition deposit of $100 if they are serious about enrolling. The deposit is credited to your account and will be reflected on your bill from Financial Services. The $100 deposit for the Fall semester is refundable until May 1 of the enrollment year. The tuition deposit must be submitted before scheduling classes.
  • Rockland Residential students must submit a tuition deposit and room deposit before applying for housing.
  • International students deposit of $2,000 includes both the tuition and room deposits.
STEP 10: Housing (Rockland Residential Campus Only)
After you are accepted and submit a Tuition Deposit, you can apply online for housing.

Students interested in participating in Nyack College’s varsity athletics must register with The NCAA Initial-Eligibility Clearinghouse (pick up forms from any high school guidance counselor or go online to

International Students
Students requiring an F-1 Visa must be certified in English proficiency. They need to score a minimum of 550 (paper), 213 (computer), or 80 (internet version) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination.

Transfer Students must get their transcripts evaluated by WES ( 

Before being accepted to Nyack, international students must submit a certified Affidavit of Support from an individual or agency guaranteeing financial support to the student for education in the United States and are required to make a deposit of $2,000(USD). Once accepted, a Certificate of Eligibility I-20 form will be issued. The I-20 form is used to apply for the student visa (F-1).
