In order to ensure your understanding of our policies and procedures, we have provided brief overviews of what you need to know.

Tuition Refund Policy

(for students that withdraw from Nyack anytime in the middle of the semester)

If you withdraw officially through the Registrar's office by the end of the registration period, then you will receive a 100% refund on your tuition.
If you withdraw after that, follow the table below:

End of Registration Period	100%
End of 2nd Week	80%
End of 3rd Week	60%
End of 4th Week	40%
End of 5th Week	20%
More than 5 weeks	0%

Nyack College Grants and Federal Aid will be refunded according to tuition charged and Federal refund calculations.

Credit Refund Policy

(for students with a credit balance on their account)
If you have a credit on your account you are able to request this amount by contacting your Financial Aid Counselor.
The Process takes up to 2 weeks from the time you hand in your written request to your Financial Aid Counselor. At the beginning of each semester students will need to wait for 30 days from the first day of classes to request their refund (due to federal and state regulations on aid).
