Veterans' Benefits

Students who have applied for and are eligible to receive educational benefits through the Veterans Administration are required to notify the VA Certifying Official at Nyack College  (Yutta Johnson 845-675-4730 or Yutta.Johnson@nyack.edu ). A copy of either the NOBE (notification of basic eligibility)  Form #2384-1 or the eligibility notification letter received from the VA must be faxed (845-353-6429) to serve as the official notification to initiate a student VA file.  Student enrollments will be regularly assessed and certified online each semester once valid registration status has been determined (approximately two weeks after Add/Drop period). 
  

Enrollment Certifications (22-1999) take between 4 to 6 weeks to be processed by the VA. It is strongly suggested that you sign up for direct deposit processing.
