Dr. Kwi-Ryung Yun, dean of the Nyack College School of Social Work, has announced that a special forum, “Her Name Is…Healing Hearts,” on sex trafficking will be co-hosted with longtime community partner, Praxis Connections, LLC and with Treasures NYC. The event will be held on Nyack’s New York City campus at 2 Washington Street (Lower Level) on Wednesday, March 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Presenters—Aisha Taylor, Ashley Abercrombie and Miranda Cazin—will address “the influencing factors, scale and scope of the adult entertainment industry with a focus on Treasures NYC’s outreach to women who work in NYC strip clubs.”

Chris Troy is the founder and president of Praxis Connections, LCC. With more than three decades of urban ministry in Boston and New York, he continues to live out his commitment to impact the lives of individuals and communities that are often ignored by society.

Miranda Cazin is the director of Treasures NYC. She is passionate about expanding an awareness of the scope of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Her mission is to educate people about the way they can make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals who are exploited by this industry.
