The… relationCHICKS

As two social butterflies our focus is on human relationships.  Husband to wife, mother to child, friend to friend, sister to brother. We focus on talking about all different types of relationships whether platonic, familial, or romantic.  We even enjoy discussing relationships between acquaintances or strangers who just met.

We are Bruny and Christina, both seniors at Nyack College majoring in Communications, who love the entire essence of communicating. We enjoy studying how people get along, or sometimes even how they don’t.  When it comes to human relationships, we’ve got a lot to say!

We are the Modern Voices! A group of communication majors who are here to share all that is going on in our modern society. From music to sports, technology to fashion, we discuss it all. Be sure to tune in WNYK 88.7 FM

The Movie Junkies is a group of communication majors who love movies. We talk about popular topics and movies every week.

Brittany Carrasco

My favorite movie would be hard to say. I have two favorite movies, which are V- for Vendetta and Spirited Away. I'm a big fan of comics and anime and what not, which is why I love those movies so much.

Gabriel Lee

My favorite movie is Lord of the Rings because I love how they filmed the fight scenes.  I love fight scenes, so whenever there are action scenes in movies, I will watch it right away and just admire how they shot the fight scenes.

Jelani Pinnock

My favorite movie is also a musical and is called The Temptations.  I love music and dramatic acting.    Realistic story lines that can blend the two together truly show the many elements of art that can make a film truly enjoyable.  I also love real life stories that are in cinematic form because I believe the stories of real human life trump any story that can be created in the mind.

Larry Moua

My favorite movie series would be the Harry Potter film series. I was amazed by the transformation of the characters, with each film capturing the adventures and learning process of all of the characters each year. The conclusion of the series definitely made an impact on me, as a person who has followed each film that came out, seeing not only the physical change, but also the mental and emotional change. I personally enjoy films that depict transformation and reflection.
