Sexual Misconduct and Violence Policy
Nyack College will not tolerate any type of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking committed by students, faculty, staff, or against any student, faculty or staff by any individual not belonging to the campus community. All members of the Nyack community should be treated with respect and be free from all forms of harassment and abuse. Sexual offenses in the State of New York are outlined under Articles 130 and 129 A, B of the NYS Penal Law. Sexual misconduct includes any sexual activity for which consent is not given. Committing such offenses can result in lengthy terms of imprisonment and civil action.
