Nyack’s bachelor’s degree in Voice  is designed to prepare qualified students for professional performance in classical singing, graduate study in performance, or teaching privately.

What Will I Study?

Nyack’s Voice majors take courses in the liberal arts and sciences, Bible and Christian ministry, and the following music components::

  • Music Theory, Analysis, and Ear Training

  • Music History and Literature

  • Music and Worship

  • Composition, Orchestration, and Improvisation

  • Private Applied Lessons

  • Performance: Individual (Junior and Senior solo Recitals) and Ensemble
