International Workers in Residence
Jeff and Melissa Singfiel are excited to connect with globally-minded students. They’re looking forward to getting to you know you over a meal, at chapel, or around the fire pit.
Jeff graduated from Toccoa Falls College in 1991 with a degree in missions. He completed an M.Div. at Alliance Theological Seminary in 1994 and is currently working on a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with Regent University. While at ATS, Jeff served as both a local volunteer firefighter and an EMT. He worked as a youth pastor at the Montvale (NJ) Evangelical Free Church from 1991 to 1998.
Melissa grew up in Hawaii and Utah before graduating with a degree in interdisciplinary studies from Nyack College in 1994. She completed an M.Div. at ATS in 1998. While in seminary she worked as a faculty secretary at ATS, a youth worker with the Nyack Cambodian Alliance Church, and a legal secretary with Mann, Mann & Lewis in downtown Nyack.
After marrying in 1998, the Singfiels moved to Raleigh, NC where they served on staff at North Ridge Church. While there, Madison was born in 1999 and Reilly in 2001. In 2002 they began working as International Workers with The C&MA and moved to Prishtina, Kosovo for language study. Jeff and Melissa love the people of Kosovo, around ninety percent of whom are Muslim Albanians. They helped plant a church and community center in an unreached town in Eastern Kosovo from 2004 to 2011. In their last term, the Singfiel’s focus has been teaching and leadership development within a growing, nationally-led, multi-church network as well as ministering from the platform of the national evangelical alliance. Their heart is to see the next generation of national leaders well equipped to lead the national church into a new season of growth and expansion.
