All Nyack English majors receive a broad introduction to literature of the world. Students may select to focus their studies by following one of five concentrations. Through on-campus and off-campus semesters of study, field trips, and internships can supplement traditional classroom study in the following areas of concentrations:

• American Literature
• Writing
• TESOL
• Journalism
