This document establishes the Emergency Operations Plan for Nyack College and assigns responsibilities for the development, implementation and maintenance of the plan. The plan is the basic framework for emergency preparedness. Since all emergencies and disasters share certain commonalities, the plan is designed to operate in any type of emergency or disaster. Recent campus organizational changes, legislative mandates, and campus technology advances require revisions to the EOP at each of our three New York State sites.

 

In the coming year, Auxiliary Services will begin to communicate in various ways our emergency response plan. We currently provide communication on school emergencies and closings through our emergency hotlines.
