What a privilege it is to learn more about God as we study life and the principles He has created! Although we often do not think about it, our ever-changing world is dependent on science - from the medicines we take to the cell phones we use.

 

As science has such a broad impact on our lives, we have the distinct opportunity to explore the field through a Christian Worldview. Students are challenged to develop critical thinking, reasoning and communication skills, as they study the natural world while growing intellectually and spiritually. Our goal is that through this process, they develop a deeper appreciation of our Creator. The department supports Nyack College's general education curriculum, in addition to providing a solid foundation to prepare students for other fields such as education and nursing.
