Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management


Nyack College’s online degree completion program, the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, prepares students to pursue management and leadership positions within the healthcare field. Healthcare is one of the most important and fastest growing industries in our society. With the increase of our aging population, the need for specialized and individual care healthcare management is at the forefront of career choices for college students. Students may enter the degree program with as little as sixty credits. The program is customized to fit each student’s needs, with an individualized degree plan created from the student’s transfer credits. This program is designed to be completed within three terms. All classes are held online.

  • Prior experience: You may be able to transfer up to 84 credits from life/career experience or from prior coursework.

Key Faculty

Dr. Maureen Kroning is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Nyack College and the Academic Chair of the Healthcare Management degree program. She received both her Master of Science in Nursing  in Leadership and Management and a Doctorate of Education from Walden University. She currently works as a nurse leader at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. Dr. Kroning has been published in several journals, including Nursing Management, American Nurse Today, and the Journal of Christian Nursing.
