Alliance Graduate School of Missions Spring Retreat 2013
At the Alliance Graduate School of Mission we are preparing people for a lifetime of cross-cultural and urban ministries around the world. Tentmaking and holistic missions in creative access nations are high on our agenda. Our goal is to equip God’s people to effectively communicate the gospel of Jesus and to disciple new Christians into communities committed to Christ.
Our method of training people for missions today draws on Alliance Graduate School of Mission’s unique geographical proximity to New York City and numerous opportunities for short-term mission experiences.
At Alliance Graduate School of Mission we are as concerned about your personal formation and skill acquisition as we are about your academic training. The heart of the Alliance Graduate School of Mission program lies in the mission seminars that address both cross-cultural and urban issues. Three things characterize these seminars.
- Active participation in a learning community
- Multiple opportunities for experiential learning
- Coaching for personal formation spiritually and emotionally
To answer the challenges of mission today the Church needs committed communities of Christians dedicated to Christ, each other and the task of world evangelization. But these people will also need to be trained to effectively communicate and minister the gospel to the millions who fill our cities.
At Alliance Graduate School of Mission we are ready to prepare you for God’s Mission in today’s world.
