Tuesday, February 26th, was the first night of the Tuesday Night Colloquium Series in Manhattan presented by the Center for Scholarship and Global Engagement (CSGE), the College of Arts & Science and the Office of Student Development NYC.

Mr. Udo Middelmann, LLM., will be speaking on all five Tuesdays on selected topics related to ethics, law, science and politics. He is the CSGE International Scholar in Residence and his books include “Pro-Existence,” “The Market-Driven Church,” “The Innocence of God,” and “Christianity versus Religions of Resignation,” and the forthcoming “God and Man at Work: Doing Well and Doing Good in the Bible’s View of Life."

He presented this past Tuesday on the “The necessary foundations for the survival of democracy in the 21st century.” Dr. Vilma Balmaceda responded to the lecture and opened the event for questions from students.

The event was enlightening and informative. The student body is looking forward to four more CSGE Tuesday Night Colloquium events. The Tuesday dates are March 5th, March 19th, April 9th and April 23rd.
