Nyack College NYC held International Day this past Thursday, October 11th. Students came together in unity to celebrate the many cultural backgrounds at the college. The Heritages that were represented were Hispanic, African American, Indonesian, Haitian, Indian, Norwegian, Swedish, Jewish, Indigenous Australian, and Korean.
Each group brought music, food, and traditional garb from their culture. The night held many cultural performances including spoken word and singing performances and ended in a cultural dance that involved all who attended.
There was much laughter, joy and discovery of the many cultures represented at Nyack College NYC.
