Nyack senior midfielder Tim Conway (Billerica, MA) was selected yesterday by The Chicago Fire in the 2008 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft. Chicago Fire players report to TOYOTA PARK in Bridgeview, IL on February 4 before heading to Bradenton, FL for the beginning of preseason.
Tim was named to the first team all-conference for the central Atlantic Collegiate Conference for the third consecutive year. Voted “Newcomer of the Year for the CACC in 2004 when he was a freshman, Tim led Nyack with 7 goals and 4 assists in his senior season. He finished his career with 36 goals and 11 assists in 82 games.
The Nyack campus community congratulates Tim and applauds Coach Keith Davie for his contribution to developing such a strong player.
