Service With a Smile #NyackCityServe
Nyack College was a participating sponsor of the Luis Palau Evangelistic Association’s CityServe event on Saturday, March 28 in New York City. More than 300 students and 25 faculty/staff spent the day at ten sites in the five boroughs of New York City beautifying homeless shelters, parks, and early childhood centers.
Nyack College teams converged on the boroughs via public transportation and vans that transported volunteers from Nyack's Rockland County campus to the City for clean-up, painting, and general maintenance efforts--the Gospel of love in action demonstrating compassion for the welfare of our communities.
