Martin Luther King, Jr.—servant-leader set a precedent for social relevance as well as social justice.

When acts of community service took place across the nation on January 19, Martin Luther King Day, Nyack College was represented at a very significant site in Rockland County—150-year-old St. Charles A.M.E. Church.

Towering above the gathering of community residents and local government officials were members of Nyack College Men’s Basketball Team who volunteered to serve at the annual King Day breakfast at the Sparkill, NY church.
