Loren G. Ingram '59 went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2013 at the age of 86. He served in the Navy before becoming a student at Nyack, and served out on the Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Shangri-La during the atom bomb tests in World War II. After Nyack, he worked as a truck driver and dispatcher for Interstate Motor Lines. He and his wife, Connie, lived in Springfield, OR for 23 years. He was a member of the First Nazarene Church of Eugene and also attended the First Baptist Church of Eugene. He is survived by his wife, Connie; son, Kenneth (and wife, Stacy); daughter, Laurel Beth Baggenstan; 6 grandchildren; 1 stepdaughter; and 3 step grandchildren.
