Childhood Education Peer Mentors, Rebecca Wahler, Sara Suryani, and Abby Frank, attended a  Peer Mentoring Workshop on Monday, April 11, given by  Department Chair, Susan Bucci, to develop their skills as peer mentors.  Research has shown that peer mentors are key to retention and graduation rates and the Childhood Education department is excited to develop this program for our students. The peer mentors were given  flowering plants, which require nurturing and support, as their mentees will.
