Pi Lambda Theta - Direct Honors Program through the School of Education

Pi Lambda Theta is the most selective national honor society of educators. PLT extends membership to students and professionals who satisfy academic eligibility requirements but these requirements are waived for National Board-certified teachers.
Undergraduate and Graduate students at Nyack College are eligible for nomination by way of the following criteria:
- Cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, and current enrollment in a qualified degree program.
- Graduate must have completed at least two courses in a graduate degree program or post-baccalaureate certification or credential program.
- Undergraduate must have achieved at least a sophomore standing in a baccalaureate degree program in education.
