Jessica Verderame Sanchez  (BS/CE, MSE/SPED ’12)

Selected for TEACH FOR AMERICA

Jessica Sanchez completed her MSE in Special Education in May and went right back into the classroom by her acceptance by the Teach for American Program, a highly competitive national program that looks for the best teachers who make a difference. Teach for America looks for candidates who are committed to students, have demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic, professional and extracurricular activities. Jessica is now teaching at Harlem Preparatory Academy Charter School.
